Helping Women Understand Their Bodies and Build Health That Lasts

I’m a naturopath, mum of three, and someone who came to this work through lived experience as well as formal training.

My approach to health is grounded in a simple belief: when people truly understand their bodies, they are far more empowered to care for them.

My Journey into Naturopathy *

How This Shapes My Work Today

My journey into naturopathy began when my children were young and struggling with their health.

They were unsettled and often unwell, and I didn’t feel like I had the knowledge or tools to help them.

Taking my second son to see a naturopath when he was eight months old was a turning point. With simple dietary changes and herbal medicine, his health improved dramatically.

That experience completely shifted how I understood the body and the role of natural medicine.

Years later, when my children were older, I returned to study and completed my Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy.

My own health journey has also shaped the practitioner I am today. After being told medication was likely by the age of forty due to blood sugar dysregulation, I chose to address it through natural approaches. Nearly a decade later, I continue to manage my health naturally and remain medication-free.

Over time, these experiences both personal and professional have shaped how I practice today.

Through my family’s health journey, my own personal experiences, and observing how previous generations often navigated healthcare without space for deeper conversations about food, stress and lifestyle… I came to understand that health is rarely about a single symptom and the importance of a root cause approach.

It’s about recognising how the body’s systems connect and supporting them in a way that is sustainable over time.

Today I work with men and women who want to better understand how their bodies function and how factors like hormones, blood sugar, digestion, nutrition and stress influence their well being.

My goal is not just to improve symptoms, but to help people build the knowledge and confidence to care for their health long-term.

This work isn’t about perfection or extremes. It’s about awareness, understanding and sustainable change.

Outside of clinic you’ll usually find me in the garden, sewing, cooking, practising yoga or spending time with friends. I also take an unreasonable number of photos of my cat!
