My journey with Naturopathy began in high school, from an instinctual belief set rather than influence from an event or person.  From an early age, herbal medicine felt very aligned with me and I experienced great results with treatments.

After school I chose to study science and it wasn’t until after becoming a mum that I reconnected with Naturopathy.  My children were unsettled, often unwell and I didn’t have the knowledge or skills to help them. Again based on instinct, I took my second son to see a Naturopath when he was eight months old. I thought there had to be a better way and there was! With simple diet changes and herbal medicine, my son’s health improved, it was simply that effective. Years later, with my children aged 11, 9 and 7 years old, I started my Bachelor of Health (Naturopathy). My career change has been one of the most rewarding decisions I have made, and now I look forward to bringing Naturopathic medicine to my local community and beyond.

About Me

Outside of my work, I love connecting and spending time with friends, working in my large garden, sewing, cooking, photography (I have a ridiculous amount of photos of my cat!) and yoga.

Naturopathy & Herbalism Mastery Program (2023)

Susan graduated from the Naturopathy & Herbalism Mastery Program in 2023, an intensive transition to practice program developed by women’s health naturopath and educator expert, Sulin Sze.

Throughout this period, she further cultivated skills and insights in establishing a heart-centred and compassionate clinical practice. Central to this approach is Sulin’s distinctive East-West diagnostic and prescribing methodologies. These methods incorporate a unique holistic paradigm, informed by Western and Chinese Herbal Medicine as well as Ayurveda, to provide a truly holistic healing experience and journey for her patients.

She is now a valued member of a community of therapists who model health and well-being to their family and community, informed by classical systems of healing from east and west.

Susan is a member of Naturopaths & Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA)

Why choose an NHAA accredited Practitioner?

In Australia, natural therapies are governed by professional associations. The NHAA is a peak professional association representing appropriately qualified Naturopaths and Western Herbalists. It is the oldest professional association of complementary therapists, founded in 1920 and represents approximately one third of practising Naturopaths and Herbalists in Australia. The NHAA is the only professional association specifically concerned with the practice and education of Naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine (WHM) in Australia.
