Perimenopause Support
Navigating changes in your cycle, energy, mood or body?
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
Perimenopause can start up to 10 years before your final period, and for many women it feels like their body has quietly changed the rules overnight. Hormones begin to fluctuate, especially oestrogen and progesterone, and those shifts can affect everything from your sleep to your stress tolerance.
If you’re noticing changes and you’re not sure what’s ‘normal, you’re in the right place.
Common experiences women bring to me
You might be dealing with one or several of the following:
Irregular or heavier periods
Hot flushes or night sweats
Mood changes, irritability or feeling unexpectedly emotional
Brain fog and difficulty concentrating
Sleep disturbances
Anxiety that feels “new” or out of proportion
Weight changes, bloating or shifts in digestion
Fatigue or a drop in resilience
Vaginal dryness or changes in libido
Even one of these can disrupt your confidence and daily life. And although these symptoms are common, they are not something you need to simply tolerate.
Dive deep into the essence of who you are, get comfortable with yourself, let go of things no longer serving you and emerge wiser, stronger and reach your highest potential.
How naturopathy can support you through perimenopause
This transition affects your hormones, metabolism, nervous system and inflammatory pathways — so support needs to be both holistic and personalised.
In our work together, we can:
Identify what’s driving your symptoms through case-taking, targeted testing (where appropriate) and pattern recognition.
Support hormonal balance with herbal medicine chosen specifically for your body, mood, cycle and stress load.
Strengthen your nervous system so you feel calmer and more resilient.
Improve sleep quality and energy production.
Address metabolic changes such as shifts in weight, insulin sensitivity or cholesterol.
Use nutrition to reduce inflammation, stabilise blood sugar and support long-term health.
Develop practical lifestyle strategies that fit into your real life — not a perfect one.
My goal is to help you understand what is happening physiologically, while giving you tools you can use straight away.
Why this stage matters
What you do during perimenopause has long-term effects on:
bone health
cardiovascular health
cognitive function
metabolic health
mood and emotional wellbeing
Supporting yourself now is an investment in the next decades of your life — not a short-term fix.
A space to explore, understand and feel supported
Perimenopause is not just a hormonal shift — it’s a personal transition. Many women I see describe this time as a chance to reassess their boundaries, their energy, and the parts of life that no longer fit.
My role is to offer a calm, grounded, science-informed approach that helps you feel clear, confident and more at home in your body again.
When you’re ready, we can take a thorough look at what’s changing, why, and what your options are.
If you’re feeling the changes and want clarity, support or direction, I’m here to help.
Support for Children & Families
Raising healthy children is deeply meaningful work — and supporting families through their health challenges is one of the greatest privileges of my practice.
Modern family life is busy, overstimulating, and full of food and lifestyle choices that don’t always support a child’s long-term wellbeing. Many parents come to me feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or simply wanting clearer guidance that aligns with their values.
You don’t need to navigate this alone.
Common concerns I support in babies, children and teens
Every family is different, but these are some of the patterns I see most often:
Eczema and other skin conditions
Digestive discomfort, bloating, constipation or loose stools
Sleep difficulties
Behavioural or emotional regulation challenges
Frequent colds or immune issues
Food sensitivities
Anxiety or heightened stress
Hormonal changes in pre-teens and teens
Weight loss/gain or reduced appetite
Even subtle symptoms can affect a child’s confidence, comfort and learning — and early support can make a significant difference.
How naturopathy supports children’s health
Children respond beautifully to simple, gentle interventions.
Together we can explore:
Underlying gut or immune imbalances
Nutritional needs and gaps
Emotional or environmental stressors
Sleep routines and nervous system support
Herbal formulas specifically prepared for children
High-quality probiotics and child-safe nutraceuticals
My approach is always tailored, practical and respectful of your family’s lifestyle. You’ll receive clear guidance without judgement or overwhelm.
A personal note
My own early years of motherhood were challenging — full of joy, yes, but also isolation, unsettled babies, skin issues and very little support. Those experiences shaped the practitioner I am today.
Seventeen years on, I know how transformative naturopathy can be for children. My own kids are now deeply connected to natural medicine, food awareness and caring for their bodies — and that’s something I want for every family I work with.
A healthier family starts with understanding what each child’s body needs.
When you’re ready, I’m here to help you explore what’s driving your child’s symptoms and how to support them gently and effectively.
Food Sensitivities & Gut Health
Feeling bloated, tired, or reactive to food?
Many women (and families) notice their body reacting in ways that feel confusing: bloating, fatigue, brain fog, skin changes, or digestive discomfort. Sometimes the cause is obvious, sometimes it’s not.
Understanding your body’s unique responses is the first step toward relief — and lasting health.
Common concerns I support
Bloating, constipation, or loose stools
Reactions to certain foods (dairy, gluten, sugar, etc.)
Skin flare-ups or inflammation
Fatigue, low energy, or foggy thinking
Anxiety or digestive discomfort linked to food
Recurrent infections or immune issues
Even small symptoms can affect confidence, daily energy, and enjoyment of life — and they are signals your body is asking for attention.
How I can help
Identify patterns and triggers through detailed assessment and observation
Tailor diet, lifestyle, and herbal support to your unique body
Support gut microbiome balance with high-quality probiotics and nutrients
Reduce inflammation and improve digestion naturally
Provide clear, practical strategies you can implement immediately
I combine science, intuition, and practical naturopathic medicine to help you understand your body and feel empowered in your choices.
